This is an awesome package deal for a novice boarder. The only reason I had to re purchase is because my kids board was stolen the first day out. Sad;(

would this be a good board for a kid thats just learning?
A shopper on Nov 12, 2013
Best Answer: Yes, this is great learner set up. My kid moved from a 105cm Lamar to this in a 120cm. Also it is a ton of bang for the buck if you get the combo.

If the child is just learning don't oversize like most of us parents like to do to get an extra season out of the board as it is much easier to learn/control if the board is a little smaller.

My kid is 7 now and learned to ride when he was five. He skied from 2 1/2 till five. For him a board that goes from the ground to just under his chin seems to fit best.

Could you buy a larger sized snowboarding boot for this board/ bindings? Just wondering if my son grows out of the boots next year but the board is still the correct length if we could then just get bigger boots. Thx
