Great first setup
Since I have no clue about the sport, it was nice to have all of this laid out for me. My son will think I am a hero. Thanks for the fast shipping

All-in-one package is very convenient, and well-sized for a beginner.

Like the kit. Good price. K2 has been a solid brand for years. My son has had this for three weeks, The quality is GREAT, the overall system could not be better. The BOA boots are awesome, he gets in and out quickly and easily. He is 8 years old, 50" tall, 70lbs and the 110 was perfect for starting out. First day he was making turns both heal and toe side. He is now riding the whole mountain and will be in this for most likely one more year maybe two.

My son is approx 85-90 lb with size 5-6 shoe. Need help in picking out a pkg for him. He has some experience. What is the best brand?
Shanny J on Dec 11, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Shanny,

Every company that we have in stock that makes youth/kids gear is great, we wouldn't sell it if it wasn't great.

It looks like you're in luck, there is a Burton package that has the proper boots, bindings, and board for your son's size. Check it out HERE: http://www.the-house.com/board-pkg-767.html

We are new to the sport. this is our forst board. Does the board come assembled with the binding or is that something you have to do was it arrives?
Kristen S on Dec 9, 2013
Best Answer: Hello Kristen,

The bindings are not mounted on the board when it arrives.

my son just turned 6. He's just getting into a size 1 shoe & hasn't gotten into snowboarding yet. he wants to switch from skiing. would the 110cm size work for him?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2013
Best Answer: That should be just fine.
A 110cm snowboard is ideal for a child at or around a height of 48inches. This package is a great beginner package.

Interested in the k2 mini snowboard package for my son. He is 11 y/o 4' 11" and weighs about 75 pounds. Size 6 shoes. Was thinking maybe a 125 size board? Does this package come in a size that will fit him?
A shopper on Nov 13, 2013
Best Answer: Yes this package will work for him. If we do happen to sell out of the package the individual components are available individually.

My son is 4'2" and a little over 50 lbs. He generally wears a 2.5 to size 3 shoe. What size board would he need? And how do these boots run, small or large?
Thanks!
