Jeffrey M: The size of the board depends on the height and weight of the 7 year old. A 100 is a smaller size board so I am going to assume she may be a better fit on a 110 or 120. As far as the K2 lil Kandi it is a great board and I am sure she will love the graphic. The board and boots are great as well. There is no hole for a tow strap but I am sure you can find an aftermarket product to mount one on it. Aug 12, 2013

Chad R: Yes my daughter was six when she started and is know seven and she will use it this year. And there is know hole it the front but what I did I bought a harness from a ski shop that skiers use and it worked great and give her freedom but I could stop her at anytime. Also has a handle on the to help her on and off the chair lifts. Hope this helps. Aug 12, 2013

John H: This is an entirely appropriate board for a seven year old. My daughter loved it and has moved onto a larger board. The board could easily have a small hole drilled in the center of the tip to insert a towline. Aug 12, 2013

nicholas s: I bought this board a year ago for my 3 yr old and it has worked very well for her. There are no holes for a tow strap though. Just make sure to get the right size for her height/ weight. .

Ryan S asked: Hey peeps. Would this work for my daughter? I'm looking for a starter board for her. She'll be 31/2 by the time winter rolls around. Shes about 35 lbs and 37". All of the sizing charts are pointing me towards a 90cm but I like the fact that this package has everything included at a great price and will last longer since its bigger. I don't want to set her up for failure though either. Looking for alittle input. Thanks

Natalie S: I got it for my daughter last season who is 32 lbs and about the same height. I got it for the same reasons, she has some growing room. She did great in it! It was large enough that she was stable and was still able to control it. We are very happy with the whole set up. Also the bindings are easy for her to use with gloves on. Happy boarding! Matt GStaff: I rode a 165cm Kemper the first couple of times I snowboarded, at the time I was 5'2" and 110 lb. A 165cm board is usually designed for a 210+ lb man...

The K2 Lil Kandi Snowboard Package is a great place to start your daughter. It maybe a touch big (VERY MINIMAL), but it will be better than having her start skiing.
