Is there a difference between snowshoe poles and hiking or trekking poles to be used without snow?
Judy Z on Dec 25, 2014
Best Answer: Hey Judy.

No, not really. Unless specifically stated or spec'd out hiking and snowshoe poles are one and the same. The difference may be in the baskets, snow shoe baskets being wider.
