The Lib Tech Pow NAS reCurve Ski slices through crud like a high-end Japanese knife slices through fine cuts of Wagyu beef, but it also floats in pow like a fat man in the Dead Sea and tears up the park like a golden retriever shreds a taco-soaked napkin. All this means that if you're looking for one board to handle all your ripping this winter, the Pow is it.
Lib Tech is famous for its snowboards, but its migrated its board technology into the NAS (narrow-ass snowboards) skis, giving them a feel that's unlike any other planks out there. Most significantly, the Pow employs Lib's famous Magne-Traction serrated edges, which supply tons of ice-shredding edge grip without giving the ski a hooky or unpredictable feel, even in soft snow. This is also due to the Pow ReCurve rocker profile, which combines a rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot for smooth turn initiation and killer float, so you can hit high speeds, carve into park jumps, and slide rails without worrying about catching an edge and ending up on your mug (Lib Tech still recommends de-tuning your edges if you'll be spending a lot of time gettin' urban, just FYI).
Lib built the Pow on Power A wood core, which it sandwiched between layers of fiberglass to give the ski a reasonably stiff flex and plenty of pop, so you can rally from the top of big lines, through the trees, and into the park without stopping or getting sketchy. An Anvi-Tech layer helps reduce vibration and keep things damp, while the UHMW sidewalls direct even more energy into the edges for hardpack performance that other pow skis just can't handle.
