Stable, simple ski...
I have the NIS ZMax Classic ski, but I'm not thoughtful enough to keep it waxed. The ZMax is super fast and light. I'm never going to ski that ski to it's potential. The X-Tour is a perfect ski in the track, for making long, consistent (if slow) kicks and glides! I've even used it away from the nordic center, in established tracks. it worked, but it's preference is definitely the grooved or at least groomed trail. And the price, for $97 after the second discount?! I couldn't be happier with the value and the versatility!

Is there any difference between the women's and men's Rossignol X Tour Escape AR ? Or is it just length ? Which you should determine based on weight?
A shopper on Mar 1, 2014
Best Answer: My wife and I have the skis mentioned here. They are identical in style and only differ in length. Buy the appropriate length of ski that matches your size (use the size reference chart).

Do these skis come with the bindings?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2014
Best Answer: No, you need to buy bindings separately. I bought "Rossignol T4 NIS Auto Touring Cross-Country Bindings" to go with my skis.

What size should i get? I am 5'10" 175 pounds but am currently using 188cm traditional skis and not having a problem. Also, can I reuse my Salomon SNS bindings with these skis?
rodzillion on Feb 14, 2015
Best Answer: I'm 5'9, 150 and the 193cm are working out well for me on groomed and ungroomed terrain. You could probably go a size larger. The xtours are NIS equipped and not compatible with the SNS. Bindings can be NNN NIS but NOT NIS BC bindings.

What length of cross country ski should I have if I am 5 ft. 2 in weighing 120 pounds?
Puja P on Dec 14, 2014
Best Answer: Hi!
Rossignol (and Salomon) suggests you would be best in an XC ski around a 160cm length. That may seem short, but following their requirements for weight is essential for a fun experience.
