Description: Rossignol Sickle Skis

The Rossignol S6 Skis received a complete renovation to create a beautiful new child of Rossignol named The Sickle. Featuring a spin-turn rocker, these skis are perfect for any backcountry hounds out there. A very playful ski, these will tear it up in soft snow anywhere. Extended side-cuts allow you to hold an edge at very high speeds. Rossignol's jib-tips make riding switch no problem and are much less likely to split an edge along the way. The Weight Reduction System (WRS) removes unneeded mass to let you spin with ease. The Sickles are perfect for you back country intermediate-advanced skiers.

Key Features of Rossignol Sickle Skis:
  • Spin Turn Rocker: (Sickle and ScimaTar) 100% full rocker shaped like a banana with no camber underfoot. Makes ski playful, easy to spin, and adds pop, energy, and float in deep powder
  • Jib Tip: Rounder tip shape and profile is designed for pipe and park transitions and skiing switch. Rubber layer for shock absorption and durability
  • JAS Jib Absorption System: Rubber layer between sidewall and edge for shock absorption extra thick layer of rubber sandwiched in the tip and tail to absorb landing shocks and increase durability
  • Extended Sidecut: Sidecut continues beyond contact point where tip and tail rocker start as speeds and edge angles increase more sidecut is engaged for powerful full-length edge grip at lower speeds and edge angles sidecut is less engaged for more maneuverability and ease
  • Mini Cap: Ultra durable construction built with wood cores, 30 degree sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. Mini cap roSSiTop strengthens the top of the ski increasing durability. 30 degrees inclined sidewalls improve swing weight and reduce ski's overall weight, enhancing edging and durability
  • Structure: Minicap

  • Laminates: WRS
  • Sidecut: 140/ 110/ 133

What is the size under the foot?
A shopper on Dec 29, 2014
Best Answer: 110mm under foot. I own this pair of skis in the 186cm and absolutely love them. The are extremely stable when u turn them loose with not a hint of chatter yet they are wide enough to dive of trail into the glades or hammer those powder days. If u want one ski that can do it all the Sickle is a no brainer.
