Predrilled for bindings you can not get!
I ordered these skis with the impression I could actually get the bindings that they were drilled for, that being said, I then asked if I could simply fill and re-drill the skis for different bindings and never received an answer as to if I could re-drill and what bindings they would recommend. Very disappointing.

I've been skiing my entire life and I'm looking for my own pair of skis. I'm an advanced skier but I like using intermediate skies. Would these skies work for fake snow and do they handle jumps because I like jumps?

Best Answer: Hey Zach!

The K2 Strikes are light and flexy skis. I would say though that they are not going to be the skis your are looking for. These are better suited for a beginner looking to bridge to becoming an intermediate.

If you are looking for a high intermediate ski that will perform all over the mountain, be easy to get into the air and solid when landing, and most of all be fun, check out the K2 SideShow http://www.the-house.com/8974k3sshw13zz-k2-skis.html

looking to replace a pair of older K2 VR4's . HOw do these compare in terms of rocker amount? and any other comparisons?
stefan a on Aug 7, 2014
Best Answer: The skis are relatively flat; I don't believe I'm knowledgeable enough to tell you how much rocker is in them, when standing on them. What I can tell you, is my 21 yr. son, who was in the "Beginner" category, progressed very nicely during our week at Mont Tremblant with these skis, where the conditions were hard packed & groomed snow, with no real powder.

I see in the reviews that a past customer bought these skis and could not find bindings that actually fit the pre-drilled holes. Is this a real problem? I am fairly inexperienced when it comes to skis so bare with me. How do you know what size binding to get? I am a beginner-intermediate, all mountain skiing.

Best Answer: Jeff,
I am glad you posted this question, It was explained a while back, but we want to be really careful here. These are, in fact, skis that have been pre-drilled by K2. They were originally designed for really specific bindings which I too cannot locate. I spoke to K2 themselves this morning, and they stated that they should be easily plugged and re-drilled for any regular binding without hindering their performance. We are offering These K2 Strike Pre-Drilled Skis as an extremely affordable option for a beginner to intermediate level skier to get on some killer sticks. Let me know if I can answer anything else for you!
