you guys need to explain points more - what's a cascade tip?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2013
Best Answer: The Rossignol Experience 98 skis are a great intermediate to expert level carver that can perform on the rest of the mountain in all snow conditions; making them a wonderful all mountain option. The Cascade Tip is a new innovation in construction from Rossignol. The have "stepped" the end-points of the top two layers( one metal and the other fiberglass), which reduces the tip inertia and weight, making the entirety of the ski and the skiing experience livelier and more receptive. In fact the entire nose of the ski has a lowered profile, a smoother line, from the tip of the ski to the front of the binding. This construction also delivers better torsional control of the tip, for more effective grip and very high precision in turns. The Cascade Tip in conjunction with the Auto Turn Rocker make the Experience 98 lively, versatile, and extremely maneuverable.
