Description: Line Sir Francis Bacon Skis

The Line Sir Francis Bacon skis are a perfect all mountain option for the intermediate to advanced freestyle skier. The 5 Cut Sidecut gives you unlimited turn shapes so that you are not locked into a single style. Line's Thin Tip reduces the swing weight of the Bacon to help you turn that 540 into a 720. Fatty Base and Edges are thicker and stronger to improve the durability and reduce the need for tuning.   The Symmetrical Flex of the Bacon allows you to play every feature you come across, inside or outside the park. If you want a ski that can charge the pow, slay the rest of the mountain, and kill it in the park, the Line Sir Francis Bacon is an excellent choice.

Key Features of the Line Sir Francis Bacon Skis:

I want to get the Line Sir Francis Bacons and connot decide on a size. I am 511 180lbs in good shape and expert skier. I have skis for powder days and backcountry skis I am looking for a playful on piste ski that I can hit moguls, park, trees and will still do ok in pow (I don't want to pack 2-3 pairs on every ski trip). I cannot decide between the 178 and 184s any help would be great?
Thanks in advance - Kick the tires and light the fires

Best Answer: Yo Jesse!

I always say more ski is more fun mi amigo. If you are an expert skier than the 184cm LINE Sir Francis Bacon will not be too much ski for you. Howver, if you are looking for this pair to be your playful, jibby on resort ski the 178cm length will probably be the best option. More control in the park and moguls...etc. Remember, because of the rocker profile the ski will ski shorter on the groom. Just something to think about.

Hope this helps. Mi casa es su casa von bonderhoffen.

how much do the 178 cm version weigh ?
torstein h on Nov 24, 2013
Best Answer: The 184 is 2175 grams per ski so the 178 is just a bit under that. The swing weight has been reduced by 100 grams. The Line Sir Francis Bacon is an awesome ski. Lightweight, increased effective edge, great rocker profile....it's an awesome pick up. I really recommend this ski.
