Hi...I am 5'8" the Prophet still a good ski for me? Thinking more of the 179? What do you think? Advanced skier, skiing with Kendo 177 and Blizzard Mag 8.5 174, Whiteface Mtn. East Coast Ice/crud/groomed, some trees skiing! Thanks Italskier!

Best Answer: Hey I bought the prophet 85 185cm. I'm a 6'3 3+ skiier. If you are a solid skiier extra length will give your additional speed and stability.

These skis are fantastic on groomers. They have more stiffness than your normal twintip and can really bite into the snow to get some great carves. I was looking into a finding a ski with the performance of an advanced gs ski with twin tip aesthetics because I like the way they feel/riding closer to center mount. Additionally, the versatility they provide can't be replicated by a gs ski.

This ski is definately worth a look at if speed and edge hold are important to you over flexibility and park usage.
