Bruno V asked: Hi...I am 5'8" the Prophet still a good ski for me? Thinking more of the 179? What do you think? Advanced skier, skiing with Kendo 177 and Blizzard Mag 8.5 174, Whiteface Mtn. East Coast Ice/crud/groomed, some trees skiing! Thanks Italskier! Feb 27, 2014

Gordon F: Hey I bought the prophet 85 185cm. I'm a 6'3 3+ skiier. If you are a solid skiier extra length will give your additional speed and stability.

These skis are fantastic on groomers. They have more stiffness than your normal twintip and can really bite into the snow to get some great carves. I was looking into a finding a ski with the performance of an advanced gs ski with twin tip aesthetics because I like the way they feel/riding closer to center mount. Additionally, the versatility they provide can't be replicated by a gs ski.

This ski is definately worth a look at if speed and edge hold are important to you over flexibility and park usage.

kenneth c: I am 6'1 210 and have recently purchased the Profit 179's . They were more than enough ski for me. They were extremely responsive and one of the best all around ski's I have ever owned . I feel as though the 190's would have been too much . I had the same hesitation about the 179's that you do. I have been skiing coast to coast for almost 20 yrs now . Just got back from trips to Vermont and West Virginia . The ski handled wonderfully on both trips . You will not regret your purchase . Additionally I paired them with Salomon STI bindings and couldn't be happier . Feb 27, 2014

Yuri S: I dont see why not, I am taller than you but ski the 71 but since you seem to be used to longer skis you should go for it. Feb 27, 2014
