The Rossignol BC 110 Cross Country Skis are a lightweight, full metal edge touring ski with enough width to handle any off-trail adventure you can find. The waxless Positrack base offers excellent grip and the perfect balance between kick and glide without the hassle and cost of climbing skins. The Wood Air Core provides a lightweight but sturdy, durable platform. With an effective sidecut for making strong turns on the descent, the BC 110 is best paired with a 75mm binding. The BC 110 is an efficient, lightweight touring partner for exploring the winter landscape.

why are these skis wider than your basic cx ski?

Best Answer: Hi Jorge, the BC 110 falls into the category of skis that are used for turning while going down hill, skiers who use them are climbing hills to ski down so these skis have no wax bases for climbing but have a wider platform and more sidecut for turning while going down hill on a back country ski.

What bindings and boots are compatible with these skis ? Will you mount the bindings ?

There are a lot of options depending on your style and skill level. Chat with our ski specialists to get the perfect answer: 1 (800) 409-7669. Ski bindings need to be set to you personally, and as a result we cannot have the bindings pre-mounted for you. You will want a local shop or a knowledgeable person to accomplish this.

does any one make a wax able ski anymore?

Great Question. Most XC companies still make a model or two of ski that are waxable. Obviously for simplicity and ease, many people prefer waxless types especially with the great technologies offered today. That said I too still own a pair of classic waxable skis. An example of waxable skis we have here are:
