I am a snowboarder planning to try skiing and don't know much about skiing but want skis to use in the park. Do these skis have your feet directly centered in the middle? Do all twin tip skis?
Kevin G on Mar 3, 2015
Best Answer: Yes these skis great for beginners for park. You can mount your ski boots in the middle if you choose to. I have chose my skis to have them centered in the middle for my desire. These skis are very light and flexible. Also they are twin tips. I have only went to the mountain with these skis a couple time and thoroughly enjoy using them and are great with the park. They are affordable with the right price. If you choose to get these skis, you will not be disappointed.

How wide of brakes do you need for the 171 length of thes skis?
A shopper on Jun 2, 2014
Best Answer: The Salomon Threat Skis have a waist width of 85mm. I recommend getting a binding with a brake at least 5mm larger than the waist width. It gives it enough room to properly deploy in the event that you "click out."
