Description: Volkl Alley Skis

Hey alley cat, get out of the gutter and get onto some Volkl Alley Skis. One of two of Volkl freestyle skis, the Alley has a camber shape to have that ultimate control at top speeds. Making this an excellent ski for your big booters and pipe riding. The twin tip will also get you riding backwards as much as you ride forwards, so switching it up on those landings should be a breeze. Its always good to look over your shoulder when cruising the shortcuts, and now you can with the Volkl Alley Skis.

Key Features of the Volkl Alley Skis:
  • Freestyle: Pipe & Park
  • Full Camber
  • Multi-Layer Sensorwood
  • Power/Tough box
  • Radius: 13.9 (148), 16.3 (158), 18.9 (168), 21.8 (178)

Should twin tip skis be shorter than your downhill slalom skis?
Heidi V on Dec 15, 2013
Best Answer: Because of the slight rise in tip and tail on Twin Tips you can actually get skis longer than you would normally. They have less affective edge on snow. Rockered skis add to this. Beginner to intermediate skiers should get skis that fall between the chin and nose, intermediate to advanced should get skis that fall between their nose and top of head. Happy Winter!
