Good product for the price

My daughter if turning 21. She is 5'5" about 130. She is an advanced intermediate skier I am looking for a ski that is good now but will grow with her. We ski mainly in vail and beaver creek but live in michigan and ski here at times too Any thoughts on this ski for her?
Lorrie P on Oct 28, 2014
Best Answer: Hey Lorrie,

The Apache Sabre is more low intermediate than anything so I would say she would get bored with it quickly.

These are also men's skis which are very different than the women's skis. Check out women's skis for her and she will be much happier.

what is the replacement of the k2 apache raider?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2014
Best Answer: The K2 Apache Sabre comes pretty close to the Raider. It has a slightly smaller sidecut/dimensions but similar construction. It's a great all mountain carver. You could also check out K2's AMP series for cavability and all mountain domination.

Is there a way to buy these skis without bindings, I have Marker M2 11.0 TC ? I bough the bindings for my other skis (flats) but they were actually for integrated rail mount skis. Now I need to find the skis only to use these bindings for my second pair.

How heavy are this skies ?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2013
Best Answer: I do not have a specific number but the K2 Apache Sabre Skis with Marker M2 10.0 Bindings are of average weight. They are a great ski with a great rail system in place for optimal carvability.
