Chad H: Yes they are the best carving skis I've ever owned! They can turn on a dime no sweat. As for racing I'm 6'4" on the 175cm and boy when I get going fast it does feel a little unstable, but then again I'm a tall dude on a shorter ski. But yes, if I was a little shorter, then this would be my perfect race/carving skis! Hope that helps. Jan 26, 2014

Ronald M: These were bought as a gift and my son really likes the feel of the skis but not so much for racing. They do carve fairly Jan 25, 2014

Brian H: I just bought these skis from The House last month. I have been out on them 4 times so far. I would reccommend them for all mountain skiing and fast down-hill style skiing but I can not speak to how they race because I do not compete in races. I would imagine a professional type of racing ski would cost more but these have been truly amazing for me so far. Great aggressive style ski. Jan 28, 2014

Dominick S: I ski only groomers, blues, occasionally blacks at Deer Valley and Park City. I really like the skis. They don't carve quite as well as the atomic nomad high noons they replaced but the difference is very small. If the 80's carve as well I would consider them. Jan 26, 2014

Chris S: I've taken them out about 5 times this year and have been very please with them. They are pretty quick and have great response during quick deep turns. Jan 26, 2014

John L: These skiis are great for carving. I am not a racer, but they seem more like carving skis to me. Jan 26, 2014

A shopper asked: I heard from a ski shop that the old model of this ski has better bindings than the new ones. What do you know of that and are these the new bindings or the old ones? Dec 1, 2013

Paddy OStaff: The Powerrail Binding system is pretty much identical throughout the line of Motives. This is 2013 Ski Season model. It is a great system for the skier looking to crush the groomers. Dec 10, 2013
