What length Talkback would you recommend for a 5'5" 120 lbs advanced skier intending to use this as dedicated AT setup?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2013
Best Answer: Either the 160 or the 167. My touring set up is a little taller than I am. I really like my big pow skis to be long -- fast, powerful, long fall line turns. The 160 will be "easier" to manage in terms of swing weight and in tight chutes/cliff bands/trees/etc. The 167 will allow for more purchase on the uphill and swift, fast lines on the downhill, though they might be a lot of ski. The All Terrain Rocker (30%rocker in the tip, 70%camber from forebody through the heal) will make these planks ski a bit shorter then they measure. The Talkback are really light. This is a fun ski!

Hope this helps. Let me know please. Happy Winter!

I am an intermediate to advanced skier wanting to have a ski that is good for all conditions. I love to ski fast and am wanting to improve my tree and mogul skiing. What ski would you recommend? I am 5'7" and 130.
Brook R on Nov 16, 2014
Best Answer: Hey Brook.

The K2 Talkback are great WS intermediate to advanced level all mountain skis. They have a sizeable tip with early rise rocker which helps with float in the deep and turn initiation on the hard pack. I used to ski on the K2 Sidestash, a very similar ski. I loved the early rise for those reasons as well as how forgiving they were in the bumps. The stiffness in the heal provides stability, confidence, and power through the turn. I think you'll really enjoy this ski. I recommend the 167cm if not longer...more ski equals more fun right?! Ha!

Have fun out there and let it snow!
