Is this really a youth ski...or just a shorter adult ski? the dimensions seem pretty beefy for a youth. I have an advanced 12 year old skier who has outgrown his current 140s and am considering this ski but I want to make sure its not too much ski for him. He is close to 5 feet tall and 80 lbs

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

Best Answer: You know the K2 AMP at these lengths will probably be too much for your young ripper. Is he looking for a cruiser ski, a carver, all mountain, freestyle...what kind of skiing/where will he be skiing? Let me know and I can help out further if we narrow the scope.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
