i would like a pair of twin tips skis that i can have good control in the park with and that i can handle well. I'm 5 foot 9, 140 pounds and 14 years old. any ideas?
benmc on Sep 21, 2014
Best Answer: The 171cm Salomon Threat is a good option. Playful, lively, lightweight but a strong ski (durable). Directional and playful sidecut with a short turning radius, very maneuverable. The good thing about the Threat is they perform all over the hill and crush in the park.

Some other good options would be 172cm Line Afterbang, 171cm Line Chronic, 172cm 4FRNT Click, 171cm Armada AR7.

Have fun out there Ben. Let me know if you need anymore recommendations and how much fun you're having. Have a stellar winter!

anyone know the best bindings to get with these if buying new?
A shopper on May 5, 2014
Best Answer: The "best binding" for the Salomon Threat skis depends on what you are looking for, what kind of skiing you will be doing, what type of skier you are...

I really like the STH's:

how heavy are these and can i put marker squire bindings on them?
Steve M on Nov 6, 2013
Best Answer: At 161cm, each ski ways roughly 1660g. The Salomon Threat Skis are a lightweight, fun, and strong ski for the you gromlette looking to step their park game up this season. The Marker Squire will work.
