Paddy OStaff: Congrats on becoming a skier. Welcome to Funtown, USA--population- You! So any Brand of binding will work. The length of the ski does not affect the binding, rather the width might. Although, typically, only the brake is affected. This can be changed out and fitted easily at your local ski shop. Binding purchase depends on skier type, height, and weight. As a beginner, you are most likely looking for a binding with a DIN Range (how strong the "hold" is) of 3-10. A range of more than 10 is ok if you can still crank them down. Check out these bindings:
