Good customer service
During my order I had some problems ( European credit card and home address). My order was delivered, while I thought that my order wasn't processed! The custermor service even helped me out with the return process.

Why is this considered beginner-intermediate? Will these not be enjoyable to aggressive expert skiers? If not, why?
Mr. Kakarotto on Mar 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Fred,

The K2 Strike Skis are considered beginner/intermediate because they have a softer flex pattern and feel surfy at high speeds. The will be enjoyable for an aggressive expert skier who likes to go slow and enjoy the scenes.
I'm 5'10" 170lbs beginner/intermediate skier. I am interested in the 167cm ski. Need some advice, is this is a good option or do i need something longer? Thank you.
Pat A on Dec 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Pat,

You could ski on lengths between 163cm-173cm. The 167cm K2 Strike Skis would be your best option.
I am a beginning skier who has only been a handful of times, I am rather athletic and like to think that I am a rather talented beginner. I do not have a ton of disposable income and I am looking for a set of skis that could have room for me to grow as a skier, would these particular skis be a good match for me?
Cameron T on Oct 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Cameron,
These skis would work well actually. Do you know what size you need?
Are the bindings pre mounted ??
A shopper on Jan 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No the bindings are not pre mounted, they are easy to assemble, mount, and adjust to the size of the boot though. Took my husband five minutes to mount the binding and size to the boot.
Will these skis be available again?
A shopper on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
This exact ski / binding combo is indeed sold out.... and will not be back in stock. We do have the ski itself for sale here: http://www.the-house.com/8981k2stk15zz-k2-skis.html You can make your own package!
Hi, I am looking to buy two packages for my daughters. 12 and 14 years of age. 5' and 100 lbs give or take. 3rd year skiing. About 8 times a year with lessons. Let's call them middle blue skiers...what would you recommend.....boots as well?
Eric L on Dec 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Eric,

It'd be best to get a length right around 150cm (give or take a few cm). Here are my top picsk for your daughters...

Can you offer this package with the 181cm skis at the same price?
Greg S on Oct 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Greg,
You would need to have a chat with one of our sales specialists, but I doubt it. These Strike skis have a pre-mounted plate for the bindings to attach to where as the 181's that you were looking at are flats (they do not fit the package). Sales: 1 (800) 409-7669.
I am also a novice, am comfortable on groomed greens and mild blues. have skied12-13 times in the last 3 years. I'm 60 years old and am 6-4, and weigh 235. What size and type of skis and bindings would be best for me?
A shopper on Oct 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the best size skis for you would be between 180-182. I would look for a pair with a standard wood core, and sintered base, with a din rating between 3-10; the same rating for the bindings as well (din of 3-10). I suggest these: http://www.the-house.com/8981k2stk15zz-k2-skis.html
Does the Hybrid rocker/camber/rocker basically mean twin tip?
Casey S on Aug 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Casey,
No. This is a conventionally shaped ski. The Hybrid Rocker is described by K2 as: "Ensuring effortless turn initiation at slow speeds and the stability needed for developing skiers to gain confidence and control."
Do the bindings come mounted on these?
Steve K on Mar 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey,
These K2 Strike Skis will not come with the bindings mounted.
How does this ski compare to the K2 Amp 72?
David D on Mar 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Depends on which AMP 72...For a rough guide, price is a good indicator- the skis with retail pricing under 500 dollars tends toward beginner intermediate, then add for carbon or metal laminates for the intermediate and expert skis.
Im 5'8 160 intermediate skier. I like to go decently fast but im in no way tearing up the mountain. Would these or the K2 AMP Sabre Skis work well? If so is 153 too small? Thanks,
Paul
A shopper on Mar 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Good Day!
These K2 Strike Skis are good all around sticks to cruise the resort with. Though there is quite a bit of personal preference here... I think a 153 will be too small... especially if like higher speeds. K2 suggests that the 160 or 167 lengths would be better options. Finally, I will toss out to you that for what your are describing take a look at these: http://www.the-house.com/8963hdrv78p115zz-head-ski-packages.html I love them.
