Description: K2 Gotback Skis - Womens

The Gotback is another ski in K2's reservoir thats all about its versatility. The Gotback is built with a fat width of 102 mm that is wide enough to handle any kind of pow you throw at it yet still able to shred comfortably on the groomers. It implements the technology of many of K2's Adventure series staples such as the All Terrain Rocker which lends towards the overall greatness of this ski to the backcountry. The Gotback also has carbon webbing in the tail and forebody of the ski which lends rigidity and edge grip when you're out there on the mountain.

A shopper asked: I had these skis recommended to me by a friend, but am dragging my feet because I am not a backcountry skier. Any thoughts on whether or not I'd be better off with another ski if I dont do backcountry or will this be great for either/or? Dec 4, 2013

Paddy OStaff: You definitely can use these on resort. The Gotback have a 102mm waist which is on the wider side but K2's All Terrain Rocker allows these skis to ski narrower than they are. The 50/50 split of rocker and camber means you can roll 'em over on edge and drive on the hard pack, float and schmear in the powder. They are big skis so I hope you get a lot of snow where ever your home mountain is. These skis are sick but you might not like them on a low snow year...but it is crushing out west. Happy Winter.
